Contractual terms

General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 1 April 2026

The French version of this document shall prevail in case of discrepancy.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern all contractual relations between the publisher of the Teaser platform and any professional subscribing to its services. Any registration constitutes unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
01

Purpose

The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions under which Teaser makes available to its professional clients (hereinafter the “Professional”) an online business-management platform intended for beauty and wellness professionals.

The platform is accessible at teaser-schedule.app (the brand site) and via personalised subdomains on t-s.app (client workspaces).

02

Description of the services

The Free plan includes the following features:

  • Customisable professional website (text, photos, colours)
  • Online booking system with time-slot management
  • Calendar synchronisation (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Automatic appointment reminders by email
  • Client CRM with appointment history and detailed records
  • Basic audience statistics (visits, bookings)
  • Online payments via Stripe Connect
  • Shareable links with attribution (Instagram, Google Business, WhatsApp, QR)
  • WhatsApp communication (direct link)

All of these services are available in the Free plan. The Studio plan adds the features described in article 7.

03

Sign-up and Free plan

Signing up to the platform is free and requires no bank card. The Professional immediately accesses the Free plan, with no time limit: they can build their website, publish it and take bookings without subscribing. No payment is taken from the Professional under the Free plan.

  • The Free plan is funded by booking fees paid by End Clients under the conditions of article 5. The Professional pays nothing to Teaser under this plan.
  • Subscribing to the Studio plan is optional and is done from the Professional's account; it then requires a valid payment method to be registered.
  • The Professional may move from the Free plan to the Studio plan, and back, at any time. Returning to the Free plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
04

Pricing

The applicable prices are those in force shown on the Pricing page at the time of subscription. For information, the grid is as follows:

Free planEUR 0/month
Booking fee (paid by the End Client)EUR 1.90 incl. tax per deposit
Studio planEUR 49/month
Additional bookable practitioner (Studio)EUR 10/month
  • Prices are shown in euros, subject to regional variations; the applicable price, in the Professional's currency, is the one displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (micro-business scheme).
  • The Studio plan includes one (1) bookable practitioner; each additional bookable practitioner is charged at the rate in force. Front-desk and management accounts are unlimited and free.
  • The booking fees above are not owed by the Professional: they are paid by the End Client under the conditions of article 5. No booking fee applies to the End Clients of a Professional subscribed to the Studio plan.
  • Teaser reserves the right to change its prices, including the amount of the booking fee, at any time. Any price change will be notified to the Professional by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Changes do not apply to the current billing period and take effect at the next renewal. A Professional who does not accept the new prices may cancel their subscription before they take effect.
  • Existing customers keep the prices in force at the time of their sign-up (grandfathering), unless notified otherwise with 30 days' notice.
05

Booking fee

When the Professional uses the Free plan and an End Client pays a deposit online, a fixed amount of EUR 1.90 including tax is added to that deposit as a booking fee. This amount pays Teaser for providing the platform; it is shown to the End Client, on a separate line, before they confirm their payment (article L.112-1 of the French Consumer Code).

  • The booking fee is owed by the End Client, never by the Professional. It is added to the deposit and never deducted from it: the Professional receives 100% of the deposit they set.
  • No booking fee applies where no deposit is paid online: a booking without a deposit, or a payment made outside the platform, incurs no fee.
  • No booking fee applies to the End Clients of a Professional subscribed to the Studio plan.
  • The Professional may choose to bear the fee themselves, from their settings. In that case the End Client pays the deposit alone and the fee is deducted from the sums due to the Professional.
  • If the deposit is refunded to the End Client, the booking fee is refunded to them on the same terms and by the same payment method. In the event of non-payment or a chargeback, the corresponding fee is returned automatically.
  • The booking fee is collected by Teaser in its own name, in return for the service provided to the End Client; it is subject to VAT at the rate in force where applicable.
06

Payment terms

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified).
  • Billing is monthly, on the anniversary date of registration.
  • The Professional receives an invoice by email at each due date, which can also be viewed from the Stripe client portal.
  • In the event of a failed payment, Stripe automatically makes recovery attempts (Smart Retries). The Professional is informed by email and has a reasonable period to regularise their situation.
  • The Professional may update their payment method at any time via the Stripe client portal accessible from their workspace.
07

Studio plan

The Studio plan, subscribed at the price shown in the "Prices" article, includes all of the Free plan, removes the booking fee for End Clients, and adds:

  • Advanced automations: automatic after-appointment follow-up, automated Google review requests, configurable advanced reminders.
  • Loyalty card design studio: full visual editor for the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet card, and structured referral rewards. The loyalty programme itself is included in the Free plan.
  • AI analytics: weekly and monthly reports generated by artificial intelligence, goal tracking, acquisition source analysis, conversion funnel. The basic dashboard is included in the Free plan.
  • Full Instagram assistant: seven configurable triggers, unified inbox and detection of high-potential conversations. Automatic replies to direct messages are included in the Free plan.
  • Team: multi-account management for businesses with several practitioners — each practitioner has their own diary and End Clients choose who to book with. One (1) bookable practitioner is included; each additional bookable practitioner is charged at the rate in force. Front-desk and management accounts are unlimited and free.

The Studio plan is subscribed from the Professional's account: activation is immediate and billing is prorated for the current period, then charged at each renewal. It can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and the Professional then returns to the Free plan, with no data loss.

08

End-client payments

The platform allows the Professional to accept payments from their own clients (the “End Customers”) via Stripe Connect (Direct Charges).

Zero commission on your revenue

Teaser takes no percentage and no commission on the sums collected by the Professional: services, deposits and balances are theirs in full. The only sum received by Teaser on this flow is the fixed booking fee paid by the End Client, described in article 5; it is routed by Stripe and is never taken from the Professional's deposit. On top of that are the payment provider's fees (Stripe), paid directly by the Professional to that provider.

  • Using Stripe Connect requires the Professional to hold a SIRET number and complete the Stripe onboarding process.
  • Teaser acts solely as a technical intermediary and is in no way a party to the transaction between the Professional and their End Customers. The Professional is solely responsible for their tax, accounting and regulatory obligations relating to the payments they receive.
09

Term and cancellation

  • The subscription is entered into for an indefinite term, with no minimum commitment.
  • The Professional may cancel at any time from their workspace or via the Stripe billing portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Professional retains access to the service until that date.
  • No pro-rata refund of the current period is made when the Studio plan is cancelled; the plan remains available until the end of the paid period.
  • Teaser reserves the right to cancel the subscription in the event of a breach of these Terms, in particular fraudulent use, unlawful content or conduct harmful to the platform or its users, after a formal notice by email has remained without effect for 15 days.
10

Suspension and deactivation

In the event of non-payment:

  • Late payment (Studio plan): access to the dashboard is maintained with a warning banner. Studio features stay active.
  • Confirmed failure (Studio plan): after several unsuccessful collection attempts, the account moves to the Free plan. The public website and booking stay online; only Studio features are switched off. A Professional on the Free plan can never have their website suspended for non-payment.
  • Reactivation: the Professional may reactivate their account at any time by regularising their payment situation via the Stripe portal.

The account and the data are never deleted because of non-payment. Only public access is deactivated. Data is kept for 12 months after deactivation, allowing the Professional to reactivate their account and recover all of their data.

11

Data and portability

  • The data entered by the Professional (clients, appointments, services, site content) belongs to them entirely.
  • In the event of cancellation, the Professional may request an export of their data in a standard format (CSV/JSON) for the entire retention period following the end of the subscription.
  • The data is retained for twelve (12) months after the end of the subscription — during which the Professional may reactivate their account or request an export of all their data. After this period, it is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to statutory retention obligations.
  • Teaser facilitates data portability: an import tool from Acuity Scheduling is notably available to make migration easier.
12

Intellectual property

  • The Teaser platform, its source code, its interfaces, its templates and its design are the exclusive property of the publisher.
  • The subscription grants the Professional a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the platform for the duration of the subscription.
  • The editorial content created by the Professional (text, photos, logos) remains their property.
  • Sites generated by the platform display a “Powered by Teaser” notice in the footer. This notice cannot be removed.
13

Liability and warranties

  • Teaser undertakes to provide a reliable and secure service, hosted on a professional infrastructure (Vercel) with a target availability of 99.9%. This availability is a best-efforts objective and not an obligation of result.
  • Teaser cannot be held liable for interruptions or malfunctions related to third-party providers (Stripe, Meta/Instagram, Google, Apple, Turso, AWS), nor for decisions made by those providers concerning their own services.
  • Teaser cannot be held liable for the content published by the Professional on their site, nor for the use the Professional makes of the platform. The Professional warrants that the content they publish complies with applicable law and does not infringe the rights of third parties.
  • The Professional is solely responsible for the compliance of their business with applicable regulations (GDPR towards their own clients, tax obligations, consumer law, obligations relating to their sector of activity).
  • The reports generated by the AI Analytics module are provided for information only and in no way constitute professional, financial or legal advice. Teaser accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of these reports.
  • In any event, Teaser's liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the Professional during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. This limitation does not apply in the event of personal injury or gross negligence.
  • The Professional undertakes to indemnify Teaser against any claim, demand or action by third parties arising from their use of the platform or the content they publish.
14

Force majeure

Teaser cannot be held liable for the non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, in particular: natural disaster, epidemic, strike, fire, flood, failure of the internet or electricity network, failure of a hosting provider, large-scale cyberattack, or governmental or judicial decision.

In the event of force majeure, Teaser's obligations are suspended for the duration of the event. If the force majeure event continues beyond 60 days, either party may terminate the contract without compensation.

15

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law, regardless of the Professional's place of residence.

In the event of a dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution within 30 days of the dispute being notified by one of the parties.

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Professional may use the consumer mediation service free of charge. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Amiens.

16

“Custom site” service

The “Custom site” service is a one-off service, billed once and independent from the subscription. Teaser designs and publishes a personalised website for the Client based on the information provided (the “brief”).

  • Indicative timeframe: a first version is delivered within seven (7) business days after Teaser receives the required content (text, photos, logo). This timeframe is indicative and not contractual.
  • Revisions: two (2) rounds of revisions are included after delivery of the first version, to adjust the site to the Client’s expectations.
  • Refund: the Client may request a full refund as long as production has not started. Once production has begun, the service is no longer refundable.
  • Domain name: if the Client subscribes to the custom domain option, the domain is purchased and renewed by Teaser on the Client’s behalf and billed annually. In the event of non-payment, the domain is not renewed.
  • Link with the subscription: the custom site is hosted and served as part of an active Teaser subscription. Suspension or termination of the subscription makes the site unavailable.
